A new challenge in Bahrain, together with Formula 1
Ocean Racing Technology will take part in the final two races of the GP2 Asia Series at the Sakhir circuit in the Bahrain Kingdom this coming weekend, the Portuguese team continuing their preparations for the upcoming season of the GP2 Main Series that will get underway in May at the Barcelona track in Spain.

Buurman and Leimer conclude a lively race
Ocean Racing Technology’s two drivers were very inspiring characters in what was a lively race here at the Sakhir Circuit in Bahrain this afternoon. The second race of the weekend saw Yelmer Buurman securing 10th place while his teammate Fabio Leimer crossed the line in 15th.

Qualifying compromises Ocean Racing Technology
Portuguese team chose to test new set-ups for final round
After a qualifying that delivered results that left Ocean Racing Technology wanting, (16th and 21st), the team chose to make good use of the first race in Bahrain to test new set ups for the final round of the GP2 Asia Series, which will take place on the same circuit in two weeks time. The team could therefore obtain some very valuable information that may not have been available to them otherwise as just as in Formula One, of which both GP2 championships are the feeder series to, there is no more testing between races.

Buurman reunites with the Portuguese team to join Leimer
The GP2 Asia Series arrives in Bahrain this weekend for the final two rounds of the championship. On this occasion, Ocean Racing Technology will reunite with Yelmer Buurman, who raced for them twelve months ago when they first joined the series, and will now partner Fabio Leimer on the Sakhir circuit.
